Hello to our 1st new update

Hello future ABG readers… The journey began in 2012… writing badge guides about Australian fundraising badges dating back to the Great War. Such history, such social seismic shifts, such home front patriotism… now sadly mostly forgotten except by collectors.

My Australian Badge Guide titles have been available from eBay Australia from the very beginning… then via Payhip (e book versions only through https://payhip.com/ABG) then also via Facebook, but boy the aggravation, the grumpiness made that social media experience more trouble than it was worth… so onto my own website - created by AWE Pty Ltd for me. Not only is there a shop for my Australian Badges Guides here on the site, but a blog to keep in touch with people who appreciate what I do - collect and write about history as told by the badges themselves. So bear with me as I learn the vagaries of another hosting platform.

My first new is an announcement - letting you know about my most recent release: the 2024 Australian Badge Guides - Badge Makers of Australian Badges.

The guide is 63 pages in length, includes 342 notes, information and badges of 100 badge makers, and some 503 examples of their work.
